Canal Excursion - Yardley 1915
Our starting point in identifying the above real photo postcard is a lightly handwritten pencil notation on the rear of the card. The script reads "Canal Boat Trip on L. N. & Coal, Yardley, Pa." The emblem on the boat identifies it, as "Lehigh Coal & Navigation Company Number 20." Bungalows in Yardley are typically located north of Afton Avenue where we find the canal closest to the river.  Photo Id
